I'm leaving for Ecuador in less than a week! I'm super excited. It's through a program called International Student Volunteers. I found out about it through my school and it includes Students from all over North America and Europe. For the first 5 days I have Spanish and Latin Dance lessons. After that I'll travel to my project site and volunteer for 2 weeks, building schools, teaching English, doing whatever they need me to. I got an e-mail from my project leader a few days ago and it sounds like there will be a lot of teaching/working with the kids. Then I will go for 2 weeks traveling all over the country. My last week will be spent at the Galapagos Islands! I'm also going with Julia and Greg! I have a lot to do in this next week but I can't wait! :)
I'm not sure if all the places I'm going to are labeled on this map, but hopefully it gives a rough idea where everything is.
